Sync Cords and Adaptors

PC Cord for MicroSync® II, Model VMC112

Common Uses:

  • Remotely fire a PC terminal-equipped flash (such as Nikon's SB-26, SB-28, SB-80, SB-800, SB900, & Canon's 580 EX II).
    How to use: Connect the PC end of this cord to the PC terminal of the flash. Connect the sub-mini phone end of this cord to the MicroSync® II Receiver.
  • Fire a remote light and a hot shoe mounted flash simultaneously.
    How to use: Connect the PC end of this cord to the PC terminal of PC terminal-equipped DSLRs. Connect the sub-mini phone end of this cord to the MicroSync® II Transmitter
  • Fire strobes remotely using a PC terminal-equipped light meter.
    How to use: Connect the PC end of this cord to the PC terminal-equipped light meter. Connect the sub-mini phone end to the MicroSync® II Transmitter.
  • Fire strobes remotely from PC terminal-equipped medium format cameras and lenses.
    How to use: Connect the PC end of this cord to the PC terminal of the medium format camera or lens. Connect the sub-mini phone end of this cord to the MicroSync® II Transmitter.

Universal Sync Cord Adaptor for MicroSync® II, Model VMC113

  • Fire strobes that require a unique sync cord*.
    How to use: connect the sub-mini phone end of this adaptor to the MicroSync® II Receiver. Connect the PC female end of this adaptor to the PC male end of your strobe's sync cord.
    To use this adaptor you must have a sync cord compatible with your strobes.
    Note: This adaptor is only necessary for strobes that do not have either the ¼" mono plug, 3.5mm mini plug, or two-prong plug inputs.

Sync Cord Reducer for MicroSync® II, Model VMC114
Mini (3.5mm) to Sub-mini (2.5mm)

  • Makes sync cords with mini phone (3.5mm) plugs compatible with MicroSync® II sub-mini phone (2.5mm) ports.
    How to use: Connect the mini phone (3.5mm) plug of the sync cord to this adaptor. Plug this adaptor into either the MicroSync® II Transmitter or Receiver, depending on the application.

¼” Mono plug (6.3mm) to Mini Plug (3.5mm)

  • Makes MicroSync mono plug receiver compatible with strobes and lights that accept a mini plug (3.5mm.)
